Researchers in Moscow, Russia, reported that they were able to successfully treat certain cardiovascular disease symptoms with magnetic field therapy. The patients were described as having "stenocardia of functional classes I, II, and III." The effectiveness of the treatment was assessed from the frequency of angina attacks, physical efficiency (PE), heart rate and blood pressure, and the state of thyroid hormones. A "running" pulsed magnetic field (RPMF) was used for treatment alone or with antianginal drugs. The study demonstrated the expediency of RPMF use in stable stenocardia patients, and its efficacy both as a monotherapy and in combination with drugs. [BENER 15111]

We've had very similar findings to Dr Pretikov in studies we've conducted. I have been treating myself for 2.5 years for cononary ischemia after being told I "should get on a transplant list" by my cardiac team. Since, I've improved from having angina when walking across the floor to walking four miles at 15-20 mins/mi. I much prefer PEMF to nitroglycerin for angina. Studies in Madrid, and here in the US have shown PEMF affects DNA translation creating new vessel formation. Angina is a free radical mediated event, and we hypothesize PEMF acts as a catalyst to enhance FR neutralization by antioxidants. For douubters, we suggest a brush-up on the Arrhenius equation, and quantum considerations regarding "spin" dynamics of paramagnetic species in an EM field. The field need not influence translation dynamics. The Russians have been using PEMF for CAD since the early 70s, and have an institute exclusively for same (name??). I see no light at the end of the tunnel for PEMF treatment of CAD, or anything else save bone fractures in the US.

Pulsed Magnetic Field Therapy (PMFT) is being currently used at my centre for treating cardiovascular disorders, such as coronary artery disease (angina pectoris or myocardial infarction), intracardiac conduction disturbances, arrhythmias, arterial hypertension, myocarditis, cardiomyopathies and other cardiovascular pathologies with remarkable success. No negative side-effects of PMFT in any single case was observed. It is to be noted that we use VOLL's computerized diagnostic EAV test and polyzonal AMSAT test, amongst others, in order to check the heart as well as the whole body. Magneto-Infrared-Laser (MIL-) Therapy and/or Microwave Resonance Therapy (MRT) are also used to treat cardiovascular problems with a high rate of effectiveness which is not less than 95% in a first course of treatment. The hearts of the majority of patients have recovered completely within a period of one to one-and-a-half months. This type of treatment might definitely be a solution where open-heart bypass surgery or coronary dilatation procedures fail. Please note that bypass surgery fails in around 90% of all American patients who receive no benefits, according to the US National Institutes of Health. Of course, PMFT, MIL-Therapy and MRT should be expertly applied in order to give the best results, whilst considering all other important factors which might help or regress the health condition, such as diet, work and rest, stress, medications, other diseases in the body, age and so on.
