Magnetolaser Therapy for Pneumonia

Magnetic laser therapy (MLT) (the combined use of laser radiation (LR) and magnetic field (MF) treatments), was employed in combined therapy of children who were hospitalized with infiltrative pneumonia (pre-destruction phase). Clinical examinations revealed a substantial facilitation of respiratory function recovery by the magnetolaser exposures, compared to results in children with pneumonia who were treated with conventional means only. The authors concluded MLT reduces the severity of acute respiratory insufficiency, shortens the treatment course, and prevents destructive complications in children with infiltrative acute destructive pneumonia.T [BENER 13367]
