The authors evaluated the ability of nonthermal radiofrequency (RF) radiation to promote healing of pressure ulcers in patients with spinal cord injuries. Treatment consisted of pulsed 27.12-MHz RF energy delivered from a Diapulse unit. Those receiving RF therapy had a significantly greater proportion of healed ulcers than those receiving placebo treatment. The authors concluded that treatment with nonthermal pulsed RF energy appears to be safe and accelerates wound healing in spinal cord injury patients with pressure ulcers. [BENER 13346]

John Sanborn, a good friend of mine, is unfortunatly partially paralized and spends most of his life in bed at the North Las Vegas Carecenter in Nevada. He has since taken up CB radio as his major hobby. The FCC assigned 11 meters to the people not for monatery gain. What John and some of my friends would like to know is how your company was assigned 27.120 MHz. Us local CBers use 27.115 for our frequency as we have for years. We understand the importance of your equipment but do not understand why it is not shielded properly or used in a shielded room. When your machine is in use it disrupts the 27.115 for two miles in all directions. I will wait to hear from your company before writing the FCC in regards to this problem.
