During the last 2 years, a millimeter wave therapy (MMWT) has been employed in treatment of 111 craniocerebral trauma (CCT) patients in Kiev Regional Hospital. In acute trauma patients, MMWT was combined with conventional drug therapy. The right shoulder joint was exposed to 7.1 mm wavelength radiation for 7-9 days, 20 min/day. Employment of MMWT decreased the average duration of in-patient treatment by 30%. The authors concluded that use of multiregional MMWT provided for a more complete recovery than conventional medicinal therapy alone.
