The authors investigated the safety of dental mini-magnets for patients with implanted cardiac pacemakers. Small cylindrical samarium-cobalt mini-magnets of the type used in prosthetic dentistry were applied on the skin immediately over the pacemakers under electrocardiographic (ECG) monitoring. The authors concluded that the use of mini-magnets in dental care for patients with implanted pacemakers be considered safe and acceptable.

I have done a clinical research about overdentures supported by natural roots using DYNA mini magnets (open field). I found them safe; but there is no resistance to the corrosion action and there is a real need to an evidence that corrosion products are safe biologically for a long period of time.

I have done considerable research in the field of magnets and biomagnetics, especially when applied to animals and humans. According to Roy C. Davis, application of the south pole or a south pole-north-pole magnet scheme does indeed cause an aggregate south pole, or positive, charge in animal and human cells. I am very concerned about the number of companies that offer "healing" magnets to the public without offering the proper education in the use of the south pole for ANY reason. The south pole does wonders for all kinds of plant life, but it is not safe for animals and humans. Please do more research about these mini-magnets. Be sure that only the north pole touches animal or human tissue.

We are a dental supplier in Canada and are looking for a supplier of the mini-magnets mentioned in your article. Would you be able to help us in this regard?
