Millimeter Wave Treatment in the Rehabilitation of Neurosurgery Patients

Millimeter waves (MMW) were employed for rehabilitation of patients following brain surgery. MMW therapy began on the second week after the operation. Distal areas of the hands and legs were exposed for 8-28 min a day, depending on the age of the patient. The patients noticed some improvement in their state after even the first procedure. No aggravations caused by the MMW therapy were observed. The authors recommended the method for rehabilitative treatment of patients after brain surgery. [BENER 12921]
