Millimeter Wave Therapy for Acute Myocardial Infarction

Millimeter-wave therapy (MMWT) was included in complex treatment of patients with transmural or macrofocal myocardial infarction. MMWT significantly decreased blood coagulability, blood fibrinogen content, and increased the levels of endogenous heparin, plasmin, and antithrombin. By 14 days after the infarction (the 10th day of MMWT), pain was eliminated in all but 2.5% of the patients. [BENER 12911]
