July 19, 2002 - Marie I found the comments about using magnet therapy very interesting. I am open to anything other than drugs that helps. I have had a lot of positive results from drinking a juice from Tahiti. But I am still having some spastic problems so may need to give the magnet therapy a try for that.
October 14, 1998 - Kate I am having no success from drug therapy to control my spasticity and would be interested to know more about this magnetic thingy.
March 29, 1997 - C. Groves, backfin@erols.com Recently there seems to have been a similar method being tested in a VA center in Mississippi. It's been developed by an engineer and seems to have the backing of some physicians. I believe I've read that preliminary clinical testing has shown promise. If anyone is interested, I'll try and find/forward the citation.
March 7, 1997 - J. Pomeroy I have MS, diagnosed 1986, and use a wheelchair constantly. I have had very good sucess at treating muscle/tissue/tendon soreness with magnetic field therapy. Bone cracks heal in half the time, a knee-straightening problem was solved in 2 months after not operating correctly for 14 months, a friend's sore back has had a miracle. This is not electro-mag it is a Japanese magnetic therapy pad. I will try to answer specific questions by E-mail.
December 16, 1996 - R. Pinto I was diagnosed with MS in 1980. Currently, I am using an Intrathecal Lioresal Infusion Pump to control spasticity. Any help to reduce the amount of medication is of interest because the price of reduced spasticity is weakness. Being in a wheelchair, leaves much to be be desired.
November 19, 1996 - M. Golovanov I follow all possible ways of MS treatment and until now I cannot find the proper treatment. I would be interested to know the positive statistic and methods of your electromagnetic treatment. This spring I had a one month course treatment with weak electromagnetic fields (100Hz) at our Oncology center in Moscow. Please let me know the details of your method.
November 8, 1996 - M. C. Grimes I've been trying a magnetic pad recommended by a friend. It seems to help. I can raise my legs higher since I started using the pad. I have a disease similiar to MS in that it causes spasticity in my legs called familial spastic paraparesis. [On November 22, 1996, M.C. I can possibly give you more information if you e-mail me at grimesm@juno.com]
November 7, 1996 - Nicole This is very interesting. I have a cousin who has this disease, so it is very important for me to find out about this disease, and that some people are being helped.
October 2, 1996 - E. Grant I have had MS since 1987 and have never heard of magnetic treatments. The idea sounds intriguing. Could you please tell me how I can learn more about this? I gather all the information I can find, so I would appreciate any and all help. Thank you very much.
